Direct Storage Cylinders The GMS range of direct cylinders are designed for use to store hot water from existing or new heat sources. They can be used in conjunction with plate heat exchanger packages, water from heat pumps or with optional fitted electric immersion heaters. Supplied in either vertical or horizontal orientation, the versatile design of the unit, together with the specially designed internal baffles can offer an ideal solution when extra water is required. The vessel can be installed with plate heat exchangers to reduce the boiler load when a constant hot water source is not essential but a short, peak demand is. With sizes from 230 litrs to 15,000 litres, most requirements are covered, although other sizes can be manufactured. Each vessel is designed specifically for each project so connection sizes & orientation can be designed to suit site requirements.
