What does it mean?Water Regulation Advisory Scheme

WRAS (Water Regulation Advisory Scheme) approval requires that a product undergoes both mechancial and water quality testing by an independent authority. The approval demonstrates full compliance with the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Scottish Byelaws, when installed correctly.

What does it cover?

GMS have obtained WRAS Approval for a range of Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers.

The WGC09 range of plate heat exchangers (for units with 10 - 94 plates) has been found to comply, when installed correctly, to comply with the requirements of the United Kingdom Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Scottish Byelaws.

The heat exchanger is suitable for;

  •  maximum working pressure of 14.3 Bar
  • maximum operating temperature of 99˚C
